Get ready for some good old fashioned comedy!

Hello everyone. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Eric Simon and I love slapstick comedy. Always have. I just love a prat fall, a silly sound effect when someone gets hit in the head, and most of all seeing someone get smacked in the face with a big messy pie. I just find that funny.

The problem is its hard to find much of that anymore. Sure I can watch my Laurel and Hardy DVDs or some Buster Keaton but I want new comedy as well. Where’s the modern short comedy? You know the ten minute short film that has a lot of mindless old fashioned fun? No kicks in the groin, no tired old dirty jokes just some funny corny jokes a guy falling on his butt and perhaps a pie in the face? Well I have decided to try and make them myself. That’s right I will make the comedy shorts for the 21sy century!

That’s what this blog will be. It will be the back stage trials and tribulations of trying to get some short comedies made and in time will feature clips and pictures.
