Ok Dvd is done. I have set it all up on pay pal. Now i come to post links to it here and of course word press wont allow html code in a post! I have spent the last hour trying to make it work and it just wont take it. So i have to figure out an alternative. may have to get my own domain and host and that will take awhile. Dont worry though ill figure this out. I have to run out for the day but will figure it all out tonight or tomorrow. Sorry Guys:(

Yet another delay!!:(

I thought id have the dvd up and ready to ship by now but I’m hitting more tech glitch’s. I haven’t had the time to devote to fixing it and wont for a couple of days but i am going to work really hard at getting it out by the weekend. Ill keep you all posted. In the meantime here’s a clip of a couple of the guys hosing each other off after their pie fight.

Hey everyone. Thought you may like to hear from some of the actors. I sent Sebastian, who lays Mr Novelty and man who wants pie, a bunch of questions about the shoot and here are his answers. As you can see he’s funny with out pie on his face as well.

1.     How did you hear about the project?

My dog books all my gigs.  I don’t know where he finds the work, but he does keep a large number of passenger pigeons on the roof.  They are either part of his management strategy or fresh snacks.

2.     What made you want to do it?

Do what?  Who wants to know?  You can’t prove a thing.  I never done nothin’.  You got nothin’ on me…Oh…It’s on film?…Well, then, I’ll admit it, Eric had a lot of incriminating photos of me and went with the ol’ casting technique of blackmail.  Way to reel in the star power, Eric.

3.     Have you done slapstick in the past?

My resume is as fat as an elephant living at a peanut farm.  I’ve done every kinda schtick there is.

 4.     Have you ever had a pie in the face?

Yes.  When dining out, I save money by angering the kitchen until they offer free dessert.

5.     How long have you been acting?

I popped out of my mama’s hooty wearing a top hat and dressed like a tractor, singing an original opera that I spent nine months developing.

6.     Is comedy your specialty?

I play all the creepy weirdos in Hollywood.  Some creepy weirdos are funny.  Some are creepy.  And weird. 

7.     How did it feel getting a pie in the face?

I don’t know.  All pies used in this film were cgi.

8.     How did it feel throwing a pie in another guys face?

see above.

9.     Did you have fun?

I had fun tearing up the incriminating photos after we wrapped.

10. What’s your goals in terms of acting?

I want my image printed across the surface of the moon.  Try pieing me then, ya punks.

11. What are your favorite comedies?

Anything with Mr. Novelty.

12 What comedy would you like to remake and star in?

The world most needs a slapstick version of Coriolanus.

The editing is done!

Ok everyone the DVD is almost ready. We finished editing and there are just a few little things I have to do before i can let it loose into the world. Still have to figure out the best way to take payment. Most likely will be paypal. I also still have to figure out the price and figure out the best way to burn the dvds. I hope to have this all decided by the weekend. So by next week you may be watching and enjoying my little slapstick pie in the face silly dvd.

Hey guys we finally started editing and its going very quickly. looks like we will be able to start selling the dvd in the next 2 weeks. Still working out the price and method of payment. I think it will be through paypal. Meanwhile I grabbed some screen captures to share with you all.

Details about the shoot

Ok I was tired the last time i posted and didnt leave too much detail so ill try and describe a bit more about the day and the pie fights. We started the shoot at 9.am. Took a little while to get started. We started with the Bake Sale Scene. It went very well and Michael and And Andrew were very funny. We shot the first 3 page of the script and then we got to the main event. The first pie in the face of the day. Everyone had been excited to get to it and we had been joking about it all morning. It actually wasn’t either of the main actors in that scene who gets it its Sebastian and..well here this is what i posted on one of the boards… I yelled action, the scene started and Sebastian enters and smack! 2 pies in the face.:) It looked great. Couldn’t have been better. Everyone not in the scene had to cover their mouths because they wanted to laugh. I yelled cut and they all let the laughter out as well as a dripping messy Sebastian:)

After that it was all the 2 other guys and boy were they up to it. They let fly at each other and the cream went flying. My favorite was the double pieing. They hit each other at the exact same time.

But of course its not all pies. They did the physical humor brilliantly and also made the lines really zing. Went very very well. Ill describe more of the shoot in the next few days and ill keep you all posted as we get closer to finishing!

 

We shot the film!

Ok well I’m a little late posting this cause it took me 2 days to recover! We have finally shot the video and it went pretty smoothly over all. It was a long day but I’m proud to say we came in right on time. We started at 9 am and i told the guys we’d be done by 4 and we finished a few minutes before 4. I have to give thanks to my great Director Of Photography Dave for that. He really kept us going and was a big help.

Lets see, so what should I tell you about the day? Well we started at 9 like i said. Everyone showed up then except Nick who didn’t need to be there till 11. He got his pie  in the face at the end of the first scene so he got to sleep in a bit.

We got Michael and Andrew into their costume and went right into it. The guys were great. Not only funny but patient cause once the pies started flying they had to stay messy for a good hour or so. Couldn’t have been comfortable but they never complained and took all that came at them like good sports. We shot for about a half an hour and then the time came…the first pie in the face! Sebastian was the lucky one to get It and he did a great job:) Then the 2 guys, Blake and Jake got their turn and things got very funny and messy. Here’s a couple of pictures from that part of the day. Oh and that’s the biggest regret of the day. I didn’t have time to take many pictures so ill have to wait a bit to share images from the video with all of you. Anyway here’s Michael and Andrew or should I say Blake and Jake.

Ok back to work. We then had one more short scene and on to the second short Wizbang. It was Nick and Sebastians turn to shoot their crazy scene.  It went very well but i have to admit we had to rush a bit near the end and we were all starting to get very tired. But over all it went really well and this turned into an even messier scene then the last one! Poor poor Sebastian. I wish i had a picture to show you. I couldn’t believe how messy he got…and of course Nick got it pretty bad as well. Not only messy but a tack on his chair a joy buzzer and..well wait i don’t want to give too much away! Here are a few pictures.

Ok so we are on for tomorrow! I found a location at the last minute and now everything is moving really fast. Too fast! I haven’t gotten most of the supplies yet! Here’s a partial list of what i need to get today

well you get the idea. Its a crazy list:) I got some of the clothes at least so far. Can you believe i got to suites and a few other things for under 20 at a thrift store??? OK so the guys aren’t going to look great in these suits but they should work fine:)

Tommorow il be filing and there will be pies flying and all kind of silly things going on! Wish me luck!:)
